| Notes for Henry Loker | ||||||||||||
| His will was written February 22, 1630 and instructed his body to be buried in the churchyard at Bures. Bequests to his wife, Elizabeth, and children: Henry, the eldest, John, Bridget and Ann. (He apparently died and was buried in Massachusetts) A debt was due from John Matthews, shoemaker. Witnesses: John Isaack, Jefri Hust and John Parmenter. Proved April 1631. He was baptized as "Henry Locar" and was buried as "Henry Loquar". He md Elizabeth____about 1608. Loker is alias Riddlesdale. Perhaps Elizabeth, whom he mar. was a sister of Bridget, wife of John Parmenter of Bures St. Mary. Henry's widow, elizabeth, and her four children went to New England in 1639 and settled in Sudbury.
